I saw MSU/ISU Game on Altitude TV. Three questionable Touch Downs. BIG Sky needs to change their rules so the Officials can go to replays. The TD in overtime for MSU, the QB was out of bounds while running for the end zone. I am not going to cry over it. The Eags did their job. They won and won big. Finally they played 4 quarters as far as I am concerned, and played great.
WE criticize BLM, today he made us eat "CROW" He came through with flying colors. He did not throw a pick. After seeing him this summer, I knew he could do the job as QB. Outstanding job "BLM". Zach Gehring finally is healthy and got some great catches for the team today. Taiwan/Nick Edwards/Kauf, did their regular job as usual. The Offense/Defense did their jobs also.
There were so many outstanding plays for our team today. Grant Williams blocking the punt, and Freshman T.J.Lee recovering in the end zone, and getting his first college TD. Now we must take advantage of the bye week, get healed where we need to, and perform like this against SU and ISU.
I was very impressed with ISU today, their defense really give MSU trouble. I think MSU had 4 turnovers, ISU 2. ISU QB trying to scramble on MSU 20, slipped the ball touched the ground, came out of his hand, MSU recovered. ISU were in MSU Red Zone about three times, and each time they fumble or threw a pick
When was the last time we scored 50 points? Congratulations Eagle Coaches,Players, and Great Fans. Let us fill "Roos Field" the next two games shout and root our team on to "VICTORIES" Go Eags!!!!! Vic Wallace p.s. How about Paul Ena, the first three plays, he was involved in harassing ISU QB. Got to go, past my bed time. :lol:

Vic, I saw the MSU/ISU play too. Replay would be nice, but I don't think it would have changed the outcome. It has to be very frustrating for ISU fans.
Another outstanding play was Will Edge's pick. After that horrible injury the spring before last, it was great to see him make a play on that ball, and get a nice runback too.
BLM is growing as a QB. That is why he chose to come to Eastern. It won't be without growing pains, but it appears that he is getting better as the season goes on. Liked Nick's throw to Zack near the end too. It was good to see him make that throw in that situation. This is BLM's team, but as we saw tonight, you need a viable backup.

Kalm, I agree with your comments. We must come out at our next game, and really put the hammer down on Souther Utah. I don't think they are going to roll over, we have a team that can produce. Remember I said we were going to be surprised on some of the plays? ISU I don't think will be a push over either, what I saw on Saturday against MSU made me a believer.

I agree with you. I was in my truck listening to the game on EWU Campus while the Volleyball Game was going on. I turned off my radio with 4 minutes to go, score 44-17, knowing the game was in the bag, when I got into Reese Court, I saw the score on a TV that our personnel had at the game. I didn't know how we got the 50th point until this blog. I found out from this blog. Nick Gauthier is a capable back up. We have some capable QBs as backups. Last year we was having trouble with kickoff in some of our practices, they used Nick Gauthier to throw the ball for kickoffs, he threw the ball about 70 yards on the fly each time. Great Job.
I remember talking to Mike Jarrett, his legs were giving him some problems about three games ago, #68 showed us what a Left Foot Kicker is made of. Capable kicker he is. We must be all be Early Risers. Heading to Fairchild AFB, catch you on the rebound. :lol: Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

Don't get me wrong, it would be sweet to have Weber take out the cats next week. But if that happens, one of the Montanas won't make the playoffs, so we would also want Weber to beat NAU the following week, get to 7 DI wins, and receive an at-large bid.
Three BSC teams in the tournament really helps our chances when it comes to hosting home games and/or seeding.
