Best of luck to our Hornets in their Big Sky opener at Hornet Gym on Thursday. May they continue to win all their exciting games on Colberg Court in front of loyal and loud Hornet fans.

Go Sac State!!

Our Lady Hornets improved to 9-1 tonight with a 107-95 win over the Kitties at the Nest. And THAT after going to the break down a point.

Hilliard led the way with 26, followed by Smith and Moreno with two dozen apiece.

Apparently, we overwhelmed MSU with 3-bombs, making 14-41. The greater number of makes from the charity stripe didn't hurt, either (not just gross numbers, but percentage as well). The percentage MIGHT be an issue for later, though, as 68% seems rather paltry when one contemplates the post-season. The key stat, though, is probably points off turnovers, where our Hornets came through with a +11 differential. That's practically the difference in score right there.

There's no article yet, so I'll leave you with the "live stats."

Another great effort by the Lady Hornets! 9-1 all time best record for the program, any division!
Congratulations ladies and coaches, lets keep it going vs Montana on Saturday!

Go Hornets!
