Montana State

OK, no need to dwell on the past, time to look forward. Montana State on the road in Bozeman. Good thing we don't play them today or tomorrow as they are predicting snow, but things are supposed to clear out by Saturday and they are talking about highs near 60, but windy. I say we can get this one, but we need to clean up a bunch of things, otherwise the Bobcats will mop up the field with us. Their quarterback, Murray, is the real deal, a run-first type who can throw the ball if needed. As an observer, he is fun to watch, but as an opponent, he'll drive you crazy.

Still trying to get a ticket as I am going to be in Helena, MT this weekend.

@bigskyconf. As you know the players all get 2 tickets for away games. If you aren't sure about a ticket I could reach out to a player to try and allocate a ticket for you. I would have to know your info today though if we go that route. I think full name as it appears on your license is all that is needed?

Thanks. I made some phone calls and it is looking like I won't make it to Bozeman. This trip is more a welfare check on my dad and I don't think I'll be able to pull myself away to make the extra 100 miles. I would certainly like to, it would be great, especially being in the area, but I'm going to have to pass. I'll stay in Helena and watch it with him on the TV. Thanks for your help, however. Much appreciated. :thumb:

I'll be at the annual Salmon Days event here in Issaquah during the game but I have the game recording off of Root Sports. Hoping I can watch a win, even if it it delayed!

If our play calling doesn’t improve it will be a long second half. We are playing with them. Not sure what TV showed but that kick looked wide in the wind. Come on Viks. Turn this season around.

This game is hard to watch. Usually don't comment during game. Too much emotion. Hard to blame kids...they're just kids after all. But, someone has to be responsible for consistency or lack thereof. Come on...MSU just waltzes down the field after half time. Then, PSU has goal line stand. After goal line stand, offense can't generate squat. Very frustrating. It's already long season and looks as if it will get worse. 0 wins with this tough schedule?

Well for the pessimists in the group...you were right again. But the boys played to the end. Let’s play for some pride now and let’s get some youth in there and hope for next year...again.

We are a poorly coached team! We make far to many mistakes. The coaches aren't teaching and the result is the players aren't learning what they need to. I believe we will be no better next year if we have the same coaching staff as we have now.

And, a couple of weeks ago didn't our FCS coach of the year promise there would be no more blocked punts? Well so much for that.

Missed hearing the game due to being out of town.

Is that now three blocks and a fumbled snap for four fails at punting this year?

It IS called football, you know. Teams may be able to run and pass, but if you can't figure out the "foot"ball, it is going to be a long season. :thumb:

It has already been a "long season" and I suspect it is going to get quite a bit longer.
