Randy Rahe has completely lost it as a coach. He has nothing left in the tank. I feel sorry for the players who are so hopelessly misguided... I have never felt so embarrassed for Weber sports as I do by this coach and for this basketball team.

Yep, all incentives were taken away when Bovee gave Rahe the golden parachute contract. Rahe is just going through the motions now and will retire when bought out or the contact ends. It’s only going to get worse.

I did love the old lid on the rim and we deserved a better fate line. Maybe it’s just as simple as the players aren’t as good as they think and are poorly coached. Honestly, it’s kind of sad to see him say, “I prepared them well. They just can’t shoot.” No wonder many players leave the program. Rahe never takes responsibility or owns up to not developing players.

The last time WSU made it to the NCAA's we got beat by a pretty athletic team (was it UCLA? I don't remember it's been so long) and Rahe has made it a focus to get athletic players. Gone are the shooters, the scrappy, glue, blue collar guys.

:+1:

This teams desperately needs scrappy blue collar players. It seemed like they always had some hustle players who made big plays on defense. You don’t see that much anymore. Sometimes they don’t even put their arms up on defense.
