(unrelated but Sac lost to USC last night 51-36, at one point sac was down 27-22 with 17 to go in the 2nd half. USC had 24 to's. Sac shot 13-61, 23%.)

I was merely being sarcastic the other day when writing about this game. I never thought it would be so nightmarishly close. Wow!! I'm glad the Cats stole one and came out on top. Way to close for comfort. Anyway, one thing that is totally killing me is how much our team misses the open 3. YIKES!! Bull and Hansen combined missed like 7 open 3's, and Hughey missed two. I'm beginning to think that Hughey needs to focus more on driving to the bucket than settling for the 3.

On a positive note. Session and Washington were beasts last night. I did like the enthusiasm of Bull, Hughey, and Hansen, but they just were missing way to many open looks last night. Washington was all over the paint area. I wish he were two inches taller...actually, there would have been no way in hell that Weber would have gotten him if he were. And Session...nice dunk and defense.

I'm starting to think that the team plays to the level of the competition. Like CATCAT said, Weber did barely beat Ft. Lewis a couple years ago and then came out the next game and beat USU...so...never worry, I'm sure the Wizard will get them regrouped and ready to go on SAT. Big Rivalry game!! I love when SUU comes to town. They haven't been here since General Patten Sr. year.
