Montana Week

Montana Week is next week fans, embrace for the Griz fans, those that joined early last year remember how they invaded the board, doubled our membership in a week. Of course there won't be 900 Griz fans joining but you can expect lots of them.

I can't wait... /users/31/07/37/smiles/269784.gif

Been out of town for awhile, so haven't been on the site much. A victory over the Griz is about all that will salvage this season. Not betting the house on it, but you never know.

Arrrrgh!

I know that fans can look ahead, but coming off what PSU came off, this is a bad week to look ahead.

I've got plenty of travel-related questions when it comes to Missoula, but all in due time. Mystery of mysteries... I couldn't make Pocatello last week (had my daughter last weekend), but I'm making Portland this weekend.

Is anyone coming over for the game next week? Any chance of getting tickets through your ticket office, or is the PSU allotment sold out?

Yeah, but you have to wear green. ;-)

I was scheduled to go, but I have to back out. :-( I think that the tickets that don't sell from the PSU allotment are returned to the UM ticket office. Not sure how close to the game they are returned. You could ring the PSU ticket office @ 888.845.8457 to find out.

So does that mean you have extra tickets you might wan to get rid of?

edit: I called the ticket office, they said they have been sold out for months - of course it might have been the 406 on the caller id, but I didn't think they would have any tickets. If it helps the tickets are for some PSU people who want to go to the game (I haven't been able to find any extras here in Missoula - Parents weekend, last regular season game, Glanville, etc, tough ticket to get).

Thanks anyways.

Congrats on your daughter...

Hope alot of you make it to Missoula for the game. Hope we can hold you to under 68 points. Wish I could go.

GO GRIZ

I always look forward to seeing the Vikes in WGS. It is always a good game. I doubt that the Viking Offense is going to score even half the points this weekend. Me thinks the Griz Defense will hold them in check for the most part. Is always a hard fought good game though. We can all talk all we want but a bunch of great young men (maroon & green) will settle the score on the field. Good luck Vikings and any PSU fans coming to Missoula, welcome. Stop in at the RE/Max tailgate. A lot of folks from eGriz.com show up there. You are always welcome...

Oh ya... Griz 28 Vikes 17

Probably to give Hubel as much experience as possible, to prepare for next year. There isn't anything worth playing for now (Championships, playoffs, etc) so now we just prepare the best we can for next year.

Sorry I worded it that way... my daughter is a 9-year-old dollop of sweetness... and creative hooliganism. She has the, um, thrill of divorced parents.

Now that we're getting here...

Any tailgates going on? (Will I get there in time to enjoy one? Maybe...)

Places to go after the game, especially since the Ducks will be on ESPN to everywhere but the northern coast and Arizona?

Anything else I should know (that I don't already know, having passed through a couple times and stayed a couple nights)?

If you are referring to Missoula, plenty of the bars should have the Ducks game on afterwards. Plenty of tailgating. Wear your PSU gear and you probably will have free food and drinks at the game. Montana fans enjoy other fans at the games and always treat them well.

Except on the field of course...

Just another Missoula question: I do believe Big Sky Brewing is based in Missoula. I seek micros. Any recommendations?

Moose Drool isn't Black Butte Porter... but it's better than Polygamy Porter!

Excuse me for left-braining, but I need PLACES. I'm not going to pub crawl to find a bar in Missoula.
