Montana

If this team continues to play at the confident level it is I can see us bringing a win home from Missoula, but it'll be tough you know they are eating at a chance to get us on their home court. It is THE rivalry in this conference and it's about to be renewed. Let's go get win #70 against the Griz

If there is one thing going for us in this game, it's that the preparation for this one is not much different than for MSU. It hasn't been that way for a few years now. With their big man graduated, they are a smaller, faster version of MSU. I'm not saying that we will surely win, just that we are better prepared to play them than in years past. The full weeks preparation applies just as much to them as MSU. I think that UM is a better team than MSU, overall. However, UM is one of the worst rebounding teams in the BSC. We are not a lot better, if at all.

IMO, the key to this one may come down to turnovers and shooting. :coffee:

I think the key to this game for Weber will be the play of Braxton & Hill. It is essential that they stay in the game for longer than they normally do, especially Braxton. I don't think Montana can play with us inside, so lets pound the ball down low, draw fouls, hit point blank shots, and for God's sake Braxton, hit a few free throws...

Holy frippen whistle fest hope no one was planning on playing defense today. Refs aren't gonna let them

That last foul on Baker. Those calls really make me shake me head in bewilderment

I'd love to see a 2-3 zone a few times this half. We desperately need Braxton on the floor for 15 of the 20.

Way to grind out the win and Montanas sweep. It was a kind of an ugly foul-fest but a great accomplishment none the less. I'll never understand why Rahe won't show some zone, especially when Weber's bigs are drawn away from the paint and the opposing guards stroll to the rim almost at will. Nice big shot for Senglin to win despite everyone watching or playing knowing exactly who and what shot was coming.

And another losing streak is broken...way to go Wildcats!! A 3 pointer by Senglin in OT to beat the Grizz!
YES!!! :thumb:

Yay for the Wildcats! We never win up there!

After the Dee it's one of the hardest places to get a road win in this conference. It's a good accomplishment. That was a good Griz team we faced up there. Feels good to see a W

W for Weber State

I've said it from the beginning; It will come down to us and them for the championship. These other teams that show flashes are just that, flashes in the pan. Nothing to get overly excited about. We have made an opening statement. Now, let's see how all of the flashes respond. I'm fairly sure that UM will be there at the end, and so will we. The rest of the pack will be nipping at each other's heals up to the end. We still have some tough roadies ahead, but none quite like this one.

Lets try to travel well to ISU next week.

Go Cats!!
