Well....the Griz are undefeated in league and they're coming to Cheney this Thursday night. Reese Court should be Rockin! It's gonna take all we have to beat them. We definitely have the talent to get the job done. You know the Griz would love to go undefeated.
Can't wait for this one!!!

go eags!

Eags win 79 - 70

I'll say Eags win 69 - 66. Vegas has the Griz favored by 4. Opened at 1.5. Just heard a stat that the Eags win 87% of their home games...but the Griz always play us tough at home. Could be a classic.

RR, that would be great to get him back in hopes he could contribute going into BSC tourny...any depth a good thing!

Nice win tonight. I'm not the most astute observer of basketball, but how is Montana winning so much? They didn't seem like anything special.

I read that we get Jesse Hunt back tonight. It will be interesting to see if he plays.

Jesse was not up to game speed and play then he re-injured the ankle. I doubt we will see him again this season.
I was not impressed with what I saw on the floor tonight from MT. On the other hand the Eagles played with huge energy tonight. Playing like they did tonight we could contend for the conf championship

Montana is a good team, but I don't think they are elite. Montana has won a lot of games this year because they typically don't beat themselves. That is a good recipe in any sport for a lot of wins. Any team can beat any team in the Big Sky this year. Eastern has as much talent as any team in the league and we have proven that. The scary part is, we are missing 40% of our starters due to injury and we're still beating really good teams. If we can get Jesse back to full health we are going to be very hard to beat in the tournament. It would be tough to go into Montana and do what we did tonight. Our home court advantage has always been incredible. The crowd was great tonight! They were really into the game. We played solid tonight, but I didn't think it was our best game.

We were the first top 4 big sky team the Griz have played this year so their record is a little deceiving, although I think they are a really good team.

The conference tourney is going to come down to 6 teams who are all pretty equal IMO (Ewu, um, PSU, Weber, Idaho, UNC)... that top 4 seed is a huge plus and the win last night really helped us...we should win our remaining 3 home games which should be enough for 4th, but would be nice to win 1 on the road next week too...

I also think Montana is a really good team but I still wouldn't consider them Elite. I think you can also throw a Sac State into that mix of six you mentioned. They can knock anybody off on any given night.
