Montana just landed a transfer from Washington

How long before he gets arrested? Since he is a German, he may be able to handle his liquor a little better than their other clowns.

Hopefully he stays out of trouble, Montana doesnt need anymore bad publicity, thier football program had too much, now it's happening with thier hoops program.

Anyway any video on this guy? is he any good? Any UM fans out there that can give us any info on the kid?

My guess is he'll provide a little depth, and that's about it. Check out his stats at the bottom of his bio; he played less and had fewer/worse stats his sophomore season.

this could be a good recruit for the griz. while we have seen many go to big sky schools after being at much larger schools many turn out to be just average players. but u never know. some have been really great.

as for his weak stat line i woudn't be quit to assume he isn't a noteworthy transfer. its hard to say we shall see. i know we were real excited about the possibility of juan anderson signing with weber and his stat line was absolutely pathetic. he would have been the worst FT and 3pt shooter in the rahe era. so who knows...

i hope the griz continue its success with wayne and players from all big sky schools can behave. we aren't exactly the golden child of schools ourselves. the rahe era itself has been very impressive but i mean wsu athletics in general.

This guy does not have to be a superstar for Montana. Wayne's crew is a little thin on bigs right now. He just needs to be a banger. Wayne has proven to be successful with guys like that. It's the style they like to play. I don't think the stat line means anything. We've had guys like that, in the past, who have been successful for us. Some things just don't show up in the stats. Setting good picks, playing solid defense, and being a team leader often get overlooked. Who knows what this guy may turn out to be for Montana.

We may be going after a more athletic big these days, but just a few short years ago we would have jumped at a guy like that. :coffee:
