So we have another road loss :(
Great first half but the team tends to go "walkabout" (sorry, aussie term) at the start of the second half...
Then I heard about about what happened to Forbes and Winford :ohno:
Can this team not catch a break?
Any one of these major disruptions would be hard for a team but EWU have had more than their share :(
Losing Chiverton at the start...
Losing Danny Powell soon after...
Losing Chiverton again soon after that...
Losing Justin Crosgile just as we get Chiverton back and now...
a car accident involving multiple players!
This team is experiencing more than their fair share and I believe, long-term will make them stronger
I am looking forward to a strong finish in conference play.
This team deserves our understanding and support
Go Team :thumb:

The breaks definitely haven't gone our way....not sure what happened in the car accident, but 6 players were involved and Forbes and Winford didn't play because of it. Sounds like everyone is ok, hopefully it stays that way.

We seem to fold in the 2nd half of a lot of our games. We have been leading or close at half in most of our games and then we seem to implode in the 2nd half. Good teams find ways to win, young teams need to learn how to win, we need to find a way to do both. Hopefully we can start to pull out a couple wins and sneak into the tourney...

Agreed! If we have those guys I think we win easily last night. I was surprised that the others didn't step up because they are so talented. Seifert and Jois had great games and they should have taken more shots.

Somebody needs to step up...shooting 34% from the field...13% from 3 pt land...66% from the free throw line and 16 turnovers against a team who was 5-10 won't win very many games.

This team has faced a ton of adversity this season. But, there have been some bright spots. Seifert is really atarting to come into his own, and Jois is going to be a TREMENDOUS Big Sky player. I honestly don't feel like the record is indicative of the talent on this team. We've had a ton of tough luck this season.

Easily? there is no easy in the Big Sky. No Col beat Portland State last night so what do you think our chances of a win are?

I like our chances for a win. We have the best coach in the Big Sky. Good coaches get the most out their players and he will.

And now Kevin Winford :(
He will leave a large void over the next couple of games.
Hopefully the rest of the team will continue team play and get through.
Defintely more than our fair share...

I saw Winford limp off the court after running into the screen man but he was back later in the game. Is there more to the story?

Kevin is resting now and hopefully things went well because they got it early:
