Tuff is right, traditionally Utah State plays a pretty soft non-conf. schedule -- this year, their toughest opponents were Vandy, Iowa and Utah. But Morrill is a pretty sharp cookie -- he understands the goal of any mid-major is to win the conference and get into the Big Dance, and he's done that well at Utah State. He's taken great advantage of a good facility, great fan support and he recruits very well, given that he's at the No. 3 institution in a small state. And nobody beats the Aggies at home.
Morrill is really the perfect coach for a smaller school like Utah State.
