Nice win for the Wildcats last night. Much better defensive rotations in the second half, good defensive pressure on MSU's two bigs, causing 11 turnovers. Great job by Tamba stepping in and helping hold the Big Sky MVP Belo to 8 points and 5 rebounds. MSU still shot 51% for the game, but the second half defense was much better. 30-7 run for WSU was awesome. Would love to see ISU take them down Saturday!
Speaking of Saturday, a rematch with Montana after the Miracle in Missoula. They beat ISU mostly based on excellent 3 point shooting and shooting a bunch more free throws. ISU killed them on the boards. I expect another defensive slugfest. If we are going to double team in the post we better have quick rotations to not allow open 3s.
