MSU @ NAU

in the last few years nothing is a givin in this series, 2 years ago I felt that we stole one in Flagstaff, Last year I thought you stole one in Bozeman.

It sounds like you guys are banged up some, so are we. NAU has the pre-season pick for BSC QB, MSU has the freshman phenom McGhee. NAU is always a tough phisical team and MSU is too. Our Defense has stubbed their toe a few times in the last few weeks but has come through when needed. MSU's offense seems to be one of the big differences, As a Bobcat fan we haven't had much to talk about on offense since the Lulay era. It should be another exciting game.

Am I correct that the last four meetings in this series have been won by the road team?

Both teams have definite strengths and weaknesses. NAU's playing a bit with their backs to the wall due to their loss @ EWU. Less room for error regarding potential playoff bids. You're right that the Lumberjacks are banged up. Down an o-lineman or two, a starting db and possibly Herrick at QB depending on the prognosis. NAU's defense has stepped up this season. Their offense has sputtered on occasion. Generally good special teams short of punt/kickoff coverage vs. ASU and kicking in the Southern Utah game. I predict that anything crazy can, and probably will, happen next Saturday in Flagstaff.

I was at the MSU-NAU game three years ago in Bozeman and had a blast in that brutal windchill. Fun time interacting with your fanbase although to my surprise, your student football fans seemed to talk more shiznit at the basketball games I attended in Bozeman? Always make it a point to grab a drink at the Filling Station and some sushi at Dave's when going through Bozeman and loved hiking around there in the past.

Sadly, I won't be able to attend or follow the game on the internet this week. Hope the Cats fans have fun up in Flagstaff.

Your correct on the road team reord over the last 4 years, lets hope it holds up for this year too

Out OL has been banged up all year, we may get 1 and possibly 2 returning to the OL this week, if so It will help a lot. Our defense has been hit hard with the injury bug, We lost our best DE before the season started, our second best DE was lost for most of the season in the EWU game, We have made due moving an all-conference NT out to DE the last 2 games and he will likely be there for a few more games. We have played the last 2 games without MLB Bignell, he really is the heart of our defensive unit and has been missed greatly, he may be back this week though. We have a few more starters that it is unknown of there status right now. We have been making due without them so if none make it back this week it will be the same lineup as the last 2 weeks.

I heard about Herrick, sounds like it is unknown right now.

hmmmm I definitely did not see this coming. What happened to MSU? Now, I know our team is competitive, but I wasn't expecting us to shut down MSU's offense like that. Wouldn't it be great if we did the same thing against Montana next week IN MISSOULA? that would be too much. Nice Jacks, keep it up.
