MSU Post Game Thoughts

we have played 9 games now. that was the best team we faced all yr including 2 fbs opponents. msu turned it over 4 times in the first half and wasn't being blown away. they are a good team. we had some chances
in the game but to out play them for 4 quarters isn't easy especially when they held us to 0 pts in the 2nd half.

i hope they can do some damage this yr in the playoffs. as always its great to see the griz not win the big
sky in football. lol

we still have 2 games left against 2 good opponents.

I disagree with you. I hope Montana destroys the Bobcats. They have the biggest bunch of White Trash fans in the conference... Embarrassing for them

Your avatar, I am assuming it is a golden spike, is that same thing on the back of the helmets?

Good game, first half was probably our worst of the season, I like that our team gets better as games go on, coaches do good in-game adjustments. I knew that Weber would come out strong, I am happy just to have a road win over a strong team. That was a good hit McBride took and he looked to be limping at the end of the game, hope he is OK.

About the fan comments, you just sound like a sore loser. Don't do that if you are going to try to co-op my username and persona, the real 2506 never whines :shocking:

I didnt think they were bad at all, the ones I talked to were great dudes,

Now, I never thought we would win this game, but we played good for at least 2 and a half qrts. Give props to MSU, you can easily tell the difference between a good team and a poor team.

The refs sucked a good one as usual

from another board I hear that WeberSki was talking trash with the MSU fans and got back what he was giving.

Now he is butt hurt about it.

Hey southern Cat fans! Another epic battle between our two teams. I really thought you were gonna hand us our tails today. But it just seemed like you couldn't capitalize on our turnovers in the first half. I think missing the two FGs in the first half really took a lot of momentum away from you. Make those early on and it may have been a different game.

You've got a great QB in Hoke!!! Hope he do not get hurt further late in the game; he was really taking some shots. You should be a force to contend with next season between him and your running game. Hold your heads up high, and we'll see you on the hardwoods -- where of course you will be able to exact revenge on us!

I've watched the Bobcats in person twice this season and without question they are the best all around team we have faced. Cunningham is one hell of a kicker, and McGee showed serious balls the way he came back from those four turnovers. And I'm not with WeberSki on this one, go beat the crap out of the Griz.

I had a great time. This was my first trip to Weber. Great stadium and setting. Hoke--one tough guy, great qb. Our next season just got easier, by not playing you guys next year. Thanks for :thumb: the hospitality.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your visit allcat and thanks for the kind words. Now go and beat the Griz :thumb:

I had a great time chatting with MSU fans in the parking lot (during the blizzard) before the game. A lot of good folks (I'll be honest, I could have done without the "hey hey goodbye" stuff. I don't really think that was very appropriate, but it is water under the bridge now). Also got to joke around a bit with some of the Bobcat players. They all said our team is going to be really dangerous in the future and that they had to play their best in the second half to get out of Ogden with a W. Good to know that Ash is running a solid and respectable program.

As for the Cats. Some major changes need to happen in the off season. The Coordinators need to go. They have had three years with a lot of talent and have shown how ineffiecent they are. Also, the Special Teams are a complete joke.

We started singing Hey Hey goodbye because of the mass exit of your fans with about 10 minutes to go when it was still some what of a close game.

There was between 5:00 & 5:30 minutes left on the clock, score was 37-24 and MSU was getting the ball back. It was bad form, I could expect it from a student section, but it appeared to be drunk, Trailer park heroes.

It was 37-24 and MSU just recovered a fumble inside Weber territory. We couldnt score and we couldnt stop you guys, its no suprise that some of the Weber fans would leave.

I agree with N.Ogdencat, I dont think it was necessary.
