MSU vs SMU

Rumor is McGhee hurt his shoulder pretty bad, could be out a couple weeks maybe more. Hope this isn't true, he's been great for the Bobcats.

That's rough if he really is out for weeks. We know the pain of early season injuries. Does anyone know the status of Jake Rodgers?

There's a post in the WOU game thread about it. If it is ACL, not good. Maybe we'll know more about it after the coaches show tonight.

JPhillips71 & All,
Jake Rodgers at present will not be in this week game, possible strained knee. Must wait until other exams are completed. Cooper Kupp had a hip pointer, Cooper stated he will be out for practice on Tuesday. Nothing will keep Cooper away from the FB Field, he is an "outstanding young man" and loves what he is doing on the field. My daughter have a Dental apt at 3pm tomorrow, hope I can get out there before 5pm. We are fortunate we just had those two injuries. Also Bronson RB will not be ready for the game, we are situated very well with Running Backs, Quincy Forte, Jabari Wilson, Jalen Moore, Mario Brown, Cody Hecker, and they are all great. Tevin McDonald and Ronnie Baines were at the Coaches Show, and they spoke very highly about the team and how close the Players are. Tevin stated he is very happy to be here at Eastern, Ronnie Baines complemented Tevin for being part of the team, and the knowledge he came in with about Football. Team will leave some time in the pm, on Chartered Flight on Friday. Possible 3-0 this weekend ;). Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

To All,
Spoke to Jake Rodgers today after practice, he is walking with crutches. He stated he should be ready for Oct 5th, Weber State Game. Cooper Kupp was practicing, he doesn't seem like he is injured. We have a few injuries, and the Players will be ready for next game. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

To All,
Spoke with Jake Rodgers yesterday, he was leaving for an MRI on the knee, he thinks he will be out about two weeks, and be back for the Weber State Game Oct. 5th. :thumb: :thumb: Bronson was practicing and running very hard yesterday at practice, might be ready for Saturday. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: game. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Mario Brown was also working very hard along with Freshman Jalen Moore, that young man will be a great runner. I noticed he was given the ball about 6 straight times on Saturday against WOU, he didn't loose a step, very strong Running Back. Cooper Kupp did practice again yesterday, and is looking great as usual, along with Cory Mitchell, Daniel Johnson, Kendrick Bourne, Shaq Hill, Blair Bomber, Aaron Clark, Ashton Clark. Entire team is looking great and ready for another "VICTORY" :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Glad to see Nick Lenoue, WR, and Zach Chapman, TE, are walking very well, getting rehab for their injuries earlier this year. Can't wait to welcome them back. Will be at practice today, and hopefully at the Airport to see our team off tomorrow about noon, if not before. I am so much impressed with the Freshmen that join the team in August and beyond, they are really making our team look great, some talented young men. So much for my book. Go Eagles!!!!!Vic Wallace

To all,
All you Quincy Forte RB, watchers/fans, of which I am also, he is really looking great and very fast once he gets in the clear. He had a few great runs yesterday, sometimes he look like he wanted to run out of Roos Field. ;) ;) ;) He is really fast. Will not talk about what the team is doing, but they look great in practice. We have a very talented team, and they will perform to the best of their ability. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace
