My Experience in Cheney

I want to thank everyone for a great experience. It was well above my expectations. Cheney actually reminded of Katy; a small town with some very friendly people. I met several of you at the tailgate (except Vic' I was looking for you though). I have been to some big college tailgates and I have to tell you, yours was absolutely the best. The excitement of the pending game and then to go out and win, was unbelievable. I have started the process of actually looking for a job in the area; probably Cour de Alene. I am a wine buyer for Costco Liquor in Texas and have always loved Washington Merlots.
Thank you Cheney, I'll never forget it.

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the compliments. It's a pretty special place - especially if you like the outdoors. Come back soon.

I agree with Wineguy. My son and I had a fantastic time and enjoyed the whole day. We tailgated with the Mitchells and met alot of great fans and people. Atmosphere was fun and rocking. We'll be back!

An unforgettable weekend for so many people and what a way to introduce EWU to the new students on campus. Please let the administration know how amazing the tailgate area is and how great is it that 3100 plus students attended? Members of the EAA got a promotional email today offering great deals on tickets. The EWU ticket manager has it rolling and we will need everyone back on October 9 against Northern Arizona. Look for our program this weekend on ESPN Gameday. I will be on the road to Bozeman, we leave at 5:00 am. Tough game but the coaches have this young team prepared to win a Big Sky Championship. Coach Baldwin emphasized on his radio show Monday evening that no one will talk about the Montana game again. It is history, it was just one game. Go Eagles.

Hey wineguy. It was good to meet you and MLR on Saturday, always nice to put a face to a handle. Not to get political (seriously, lets not discuss that here), but after the November elections Cosco may need to hire hard liquor buyers for Washington. Just something to keep your eyes open for.

I've always found the people of Cheney to be amongst the nicest on the planet.
