Well, it has been another Friday night in what is the weekly Texan religious experience of High School Football. Our local team, the Kerrville Tivy Antlers as of tonight are 9-0 and 4-0 in their district, 27-4A, defeating one of their biggest rivals, the Bourne (pronounced Bernie) Greyhounds 30-27 in OT.
Next week will be against the district co-leaders Alamo Heights Mules 8-1 and 4-0 in the district. the winner will represent the district in the playoffs.
Are there any other outstanding performances that should be recognized. Here's hoping the PSU coaches can recruit in my area.
