Nathan Overbay scored the winning touchdown for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Miami Dolphins this weekend. He is an undrafted free agent. I'm not sure if he will make the team, but his 2 catches couldn't have hurt. The Bucs are deep at that position, and may cut him, but his performance might get him a spot on another team. I'll post if he makes the squad or is cut.

Nice! Last I heard he was with the Chargers (?). Let's hope he gets a shot somewhere, he was an awesome TE for us.

Dave Cook and his staff in the SID office produces a "fact book" for majority of the sports each year. They are 30-80 pages (depending on the sport)..Filled with great info! Here's a link to the Football fact book with "Eagles in the Pros" on GOEAGS.COM..

Nathan did not survive the final cuts to the Buccaneer's roster. They were talking about keeping 4 tight ends, but they ended up only keeping 2. I suspect he will be on the practice squad, unless another team picks him up. Surviving until the final cuts usually means you can play at this level, so his career is not over in the NFL.
