National Anthem

Anyone notice that the National Anthem is now played before players get on the field? I've noticed it at numerous sporting events including the Eagles games in Cheney.
Many players who may enjoy the ritual of hearing our countries song before games are precluded that luxury due to the actions of a few. :ohno:

It's always been played before the players were on the field. At least it was between 2005 and 2009.
 
Since I've been going to games (started in 2005), it's always played before the players come out of the locker rooms.
 
I have been honored to sing the anthem once a year or so since 2010 and the team hasn't been out there.
