An article on the insight of why Adras resigned. I wouldn’t be surprised if fudging the practice timesheets is common place. Given that NAU has performed at a level comparable to the Hornets this season, it’s safe to say this fudging of practice timesheets has not occurred under Katz’ watch.
There were reports a few years back about the SDSU football team scheduling unauthorized, mandatory workouts during a dead period. That made national headlines.
I take it this is something similar. As an AD, I might forgive poor performance for a while, but I would NOT fogive a lack of integrity. The George O'Leary situation is a perfect example. Those in authority are held to greater accountability (at least, they should be). Having no self integrity is bad enough, but to force young kids to do the same thing is disgusting. If this is truly the case, Adras should not have been allowed to resign but summarily canned with extreme prejudice. I don't generally like the concept of blackballing, but in a case such as this, he should never be employed as a coach again.
