Weird look for NAU tonight. Two coaches and their radio guy wasn't wearing socks.
We played spurts of really good basketball and spurts of really bad basketball. Turnovers continue to be a concern. Nice to see the three balls dropping for us tonight. NAU is young, and to be honest, we should have rolled these guys by about 40. I'm not sure if we made some strides since the road trip to Montana, or if NAU is just a really bad basketball team.
Some thoughts:
-Good to see the much talked about Max Jacobsen play in the Stott Center. It was just lame that he was playing for NAU.
-Dear Michael Harvey. Put the rock up when you're open. You let it go four times tonight and didn't even hit the rim. Nothing but net.
-I hope Tapscott is ok. He had a big ice pack strapped to his shoulder at the end of the game.
-Nice to see us press a bit. Even more nice to see a bunch of turnovers forced because of it. Even better nice to see that we have practiced throwing over the press on the inbound. Only one instance of us throwing into the corner tonight.
