I think we outplayed NAU, but just couldn't seem to 'click' enough to pull away. And by 'click' I mean that our defense in the paint sucked. No excuse for giving up that many layups on passes to guys cutting to the hoop.
Some thoughts:
-Parker missed a couple close shots early, but heated up and had a great game that resulted in a double double.
-As stated previously, our interior defense sucked at times.
-Three point shooting continues to be hot. Needs to keep up on the road for us to have success.
-I think I always ask this, but why don't we pressure the ball more off of the inbounds? In many cases, our smaller lineups are much more athletic than that of our opponent.
-Hey, don't look now, but we're in a four way tie for the third spot (still way, way early). Need a solid road trip to separate from the pack.
