NAU Women's Basketball Shakeup...

As many know Alicia Rader left NAU shortly after school started in August. She was the BSC women's freshmen of the year last season. I had heard it was the tip of the iceberg with a lot of dissention between the players and head coach Sue Darling.

I had heard the entire team was supposed to quit for this year but Rader was the only one to go through with it.

Today I was looking at the staff directory in order to contact someone for an interview request with football coach Jerome Souers for the pregame show and noticed that Darling was no longer listed there.

They have a Robyne Bostick listed as interim head coach for women's basketball.

Whatever went down must have been pretty bad given that NAU replaced Darling on short notice.

First it was issues with Laurie Kelly and now Darling. Strange situation isn't it?

Rader apparently is head to South Florida.

I guess it couldn't wait until her contract expired at the end of the season. It sounds a lot like the Sherri Murrell situation in Portland.
