Not to get ahead of the BSC championship game, knowing it will either be WSU or UND...interesting to note the tourney selection committee has Fullerton (BSC), Barnes (USU AD) and the WCC Commish as it's western contingent. Chair is Wake Forest's AD. Do you think Barnes will help pull for the BSC rep.? Tune in Sun at 4pm to find out the results.

Goin' to predict if it's Weber St = #15 seed/ if it's North Dakota = #16 (First Four?) :twocents:

We should be at least a 15 seed because there are 6 teams in that are clearly below us. 15 seeds win all the time, just look at FGCU last year. But we have to win tonight! Lezzz go Weber!!!

If and if WSU wins tonight, and Morgan St. win. I predict WSU will get a 14 seed. I think the committee will give it to weber state... NAme recognition isa big factor too. Sounds crazy, but its true. Our two wins in the 90s truly helps..

Don't see it happening even if Morgan St and Idaho both win. Weber would need to be seeded higher than 10 other teams and that would only make 8. Don't think we get seeded higher than American or Milwaukee. But I'm certainly no expert.

I think our name recognition capital expired a while ago.....and the RPI and SOS don't lie. I agree a 15 is as good as we can expect.

a 14 seems unlikely, we didnt even win 20 games this yr but i am happy with any seed number and will at least make an attempt to go. i was at our last 2 tourney appearances!

GOING DANCING IS SWEET ICING ON THE CAKE...whether it's as a #16 or #15 on the suit coat, ENJOY! And please REPRESENT as well as you can. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BIG SKY CHAMPIONS!!!

Caught a bit of AD Bovee's comments on after game Arky interview, he seems to think a #16 is likely and was hopeful it would be in Spokane or San Diego (wherever the #1 is placed)...also mentioned he thought earlier that a game in Dayton was a good possibility if WSU won the BSC bid... He was really happy for the coaches & players & seemed positive (NOT negative). Excited for the team to have that memorable NCAA experience! :twocents:

Liked what Coach Rahe had to say in the post-game "It's about time. That's all I'm gonna say..." also was positive in saying his Wildcats are peaking now & will be ready to play no matter where or who. :thumb:
Hope so. :-D

Call me crazy, but a 14 seed might happen.... Obviously a 15 seed is more probable, but lets see. Counting down the last two hours till selection show begins!!!!!

First off I think that we will get a 15 seed. I think we will be a scary 15 seed after the balance we showed last night.

I do believe that there will be a time when a 16 seed takes down a 1 seed. It will be a team like our team this year that will be able to pull the upset off. Our schedule, our weak conference and dropping some close games against really bad teams has left us with an uncharacteristically low rpi. I think rpi matters a little too much and more emphasis does need to be placed on the eye ball test.

I feel teams that never leave their home courts in the preseason should be punished in some way. Lower seeds, games played far from their own courts (further travel), they have to pay their own expenses for travel, and perhaps most importantly the loss of selection consideration if they lose early in their conference tournament. Major teams pad their records and then end up being rewarded for never leaving their home courts. This practice needs to end.

Now after that nice rant. I think Weber will end up either a 14 or 15. Agreed about how the Cats are definitely a dangerous team. I wouldn't want to face Weber especially if we are confident about our offense.
