No. 1 Kansas (31-3) vs. No. 16 Portland State (23-9)

No. 8 BYU-Provo (27-7) vs. No. 9 Texas A&M (24-10)

If BYU-Provo can get their first NCAA win since '94 they will get schooled by former WSU Howland and his UCLA Bruins!!!

NIT?

Does NAU have a chance? I say not likely when our champion only made the NCAA as a 16 seed.

USU, yes and probably a home game.

I think that NAU would normally have a chance at the NIT, however with all of the teams that did not make the big one I doubt it. Va. Tech, Ohio State, New Mexico, Utah State, and probably a dozen more that I can not think of right now. If NAU does get a game, they will have to travel, and it will not be pretty, they will would get Ohio State, ir Va Tech, nasty.

Just what we expected:

"Dunking on the inside and swishing 3s from beyond the arc, the top-seeded Jayhawks romped to an 85-61 victory over a Portland State team that got quite a hazing in its first NCAA tournament appearance Thursday." http://www.sportsline.com/
