• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

Neutral Site Tourney Looks Dead

Doug Fullerton told the Bozeman Chronicle he is absolutely opposed to a neutral site basketball tournament. The Big Sky ADs just finished their meetings and the league issued a news release (which can be found at BigSkyconference.com) which says, in essence, no final decisions have been made on any of the scheduling issues or championship determination questions (football or basketball) facing the league next year. Here's a link to Fullerton's conversation with the Chronicle:

The good news about basketball expansion is that BSC teams will get more home games -- Fullerton is suggesting a full, 20-game conference slate after expansion, so ISU's men's and women's teams will get more attractive D-1 games in the future.

A neutral site like Vegas won't work in the BSC, quite frankly, most of us don't have the money to go to someplace like Vegas to watch a conference tourney --even if it was SLC, I could see attendance at 1,000 or less for most games.
