New Commit - Riley Court

I figured, if Riley was an automatic mission guy, that he would commit to Weber immediately. So, I am assuming that you are correct. I wouldn't doubt it that he is headed out on a mission.

Welcome to our community, Riley. It sounds like you have your priorities right and will fit in nicely. We are all looking forward to what you can accomplish with us. :thumb:

I wish he would've kept the Ukelele thing private!

Caught my eye too, but at least he was man enough to admit to it. Interesting to see how that works for him in the dorms!

Whats wrong with the Ukelele? Cam and Zach Higgins were pro Ukelele players. I think it is great knowing a talented athlete has other abilities. Oh to be honest, the ladies will probably love it in the dorms.

Haha. Thanks for the kind words, but nope, this was all Brandon Garside. He's doing a good job, though. I no longer write for the SE, as I'm employed at WSU, now. You know, conflict of interest and all.

I just think that it is pretty remarkable that Larry Farmer still follows our program close enough to know the names of our beat writers. You know it has been nearly 30 years since that whole white Mercedes thing...

Whoa now...

Eddie Vedder did a full album of ukelele songs (titled appropriately enough "Ukelele Songs").

If Vedder thinks the uke is cool enough for him, I'm sure not questioning it!

RILEY COURT, Pleasant Grove, boys basketball: After his breakout junior season last year, this senior guard has picked up right where he left off.

Pleasant Grove's lone returning starter from last year's 5A runner-up team, Riley Court has shouldered much of the load this season, averaging 23.3 ppg for the undefeated Vikings.

Last Friday he scored 25 points in a 60-46 win over Torrance, Calif., in the first round of the MaxPreps Holiday Classic in Palm Desert.

A night later he followed it up with 23 points against Cathedral Catholic, Calif. in a 72-53 victory.

Court is also averaging 8.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.3 steals.

27 pts, 13 rbs, and 4 ast in first game of state tournament, all game highs. Playing well on his future home court. Now averaging 23 pts on the season.

He faces Jesse Wade and Davis on Wednesday at 7:30. I don't quite understand how Wade is going to end up at Gonzaga but...no matter should be quite the game.

As for Court...he is proving to be one of the top players in the state. Total recruiting coup by Rahe. not only can he score, but he can rebound and is quite the passer. He is a triple double threat. Can't wait to see him at the Dee wearing Wildcat Purple

I think that I will attend the game on Wednesday night. I've heard so much good about this kid, I want to see him play. He should be a great addition when he gets back from his mission.
