Sounds like the WAC has crumbled, finally. It was announced yesterday (by the UNLV Asst AD inter alia) that teams from C-USA, Mountain West and WAC are going to pull together to form a new super league. The WAC teams are Fresno State, Nevada, Rice, and Hawaii - from the Mountain West are Air Force, Colorado State, New Mexico, UNLV and Wyoming. What's left of the WAC? Big Sky stands pat while everything around her is swirling.

This means that the MWC is also going to crumble to dust. I sense that we may have a potential move-up possibility in the future if we act. Also, we'd need to be really lucky.
Yeah, I was thinking of that. But then I think of the money it would take to move up to the bowls. 30-40% more scholarships, to start with. Yes, it's high profile. But is it really PSU? I think of all the mediocre teams/schools scrambling to get into the "big time" conferences. All but a couple, maybe all, will lose money big time. All for the sake of publicity. Not sure it's worth it.
