This is good news. Nice to see the administration committing resources to athletics fundraising. One has to spend a little money (on salary for this kind of position) if one wants to make money.

I'm really excited to hear that they hired someone with alot of energy!! I just hope he lasts and is so inspiring that he reinvigerrates staggnant staff to inspire for excellence.

Its also good to have somebody who has ties to the dept. and the University such as his dad was a PSU Athletic Staff member, so he has pride for the system and will work hard build the program to what he believes it to be and will become!!

Now we just need to decide who is going to be our AD, even though I really think that Terry Marriani is doing and excellent job as pro-temp AD!!!

Great point. I think that it's important to bring in people that have either ties to the community or the University. That way they are less likely to use the job as a springboard to progress their career.
