The Big Sky has a new logo and a video about the conference. Funny...there isn't one image of Weber State in the entire montage/film. Was this a snafu from the conference or the department. To me, at least, it is kinda a slap in the face.

Looks almost like an advertisement for Montana State football. Uh, okay Fullerton (former AD of MSU)

The ad was definitely UM/MSU football-centric. Quite a few Big Sky Conference schools had no representation in that video but the conference head honchos want to promote their most successful and supported products.

That being said...I liked the ad.

Logo is alright, the video was ok, but if your going to promote a conference, you need to acknowlegde all of the schools in that conference at least once (and the little half a second logo appearance doesnt count).

I love the new Big Sky logo. It looks a lot more modern rather than the bland old logo. They could have definitely stood to have more of a variety in the video, but oh well. I won't lose any sleep over it. How many people who aren't familiar with the Big Sky Conference are even going to really care or notice? Having said that, they definitely could have stood to put Lillard in there for a couple of seconds and any other players in any sport who have gone on to play professionally.

If Lillard keeps kicking butt in the summer league and into his rookie season and beyond, Weber State will get plenty of notoriety every time his college is mentioned.
