• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.

New offer

He is an honorable mention JC All American. We have actually been on this one for quite a while now. He can play at 3 or at the 4 spot. One of the best parts of his game is his post defense. He scores 12.9 PPG and gets 5.9 RPG, in 24 minutes of PT. He is not a three point threat, but can handle the ball in the open court. If we get him, it will allow us to play big when we need to. He looks to me like a more athletic version of Mook, and we all know what he was able to do for us. If we get him, I think our recruiting may be over for the spring. I think that this speaks volumes for what our coaches think about our freshmen guards coming in.

Really quick...MOOK is perhaps the most under-appreciated and under-valued player who has played at Weber in some time. At the first of the year I made the mistake of under valuing Mooks worth to our program. He was such an integral part of the program. And an incredible leader. After the Colorado State game, I fully realized how much the team was going to miss him this season. If the Cats can get a player similar to Mook that would be incredible. However, I really doubt he will be a better player than Mook. Similar yes...better, no. If he does end up being better. I will eat a nice plate size of crow.

You are right Tal. Mook was much more than what you saw on the surface. I think that Jae may be that sort of player as well. In looking at his stat line, it appears that he does a lot of things well. He is the best player on a team that went 23-7. When you read about what his coach has to say about him, he looks even more like Mook. If he signs with us, I think we will really like him. He is a good rebounder, a good scorer, and a great defender. :thumb: :thumb:

So do we still have one scholarship left or are we done?

So are the two JC kids upgrades over Fuller & Royce Williams? Or put better, or we stronger in some of our weak areas?

I think the answer to each question is yes! These kids can ball and will be coming to Weber to make a name for themselves. This will be an athletic team that will lead with defense. Coach Rahe is making a bold statement and the Wildcats are going to be fun to watch!

Coaches are judged by wins and championships. Making the dance can't be enough, need to have the athletes to win a couple of games in the dance. It's going to be a young team, but don't forget Kentucky started 5 freshman in the National Championship game!

It all starts this summer! :thumb:

Seems like a pretty solid pick up for the Cats. I'm looking forward to seeing Jae on the floor.
