Two, fairly major, rules changes for this upcoming season. The three point line will be moving from 20' 9'' to 22', the international distance. Also, the shot clock resets to 20 seconds after an offensive rebound.
My feelings are that both are a move in the right direction. The new three point line will spread the floor a little more and bring the big men back into the game a bit more. Three point shooting percentages might drop a little but that shot will remain a big part of the game. Also, teams just don't need a full 30 seconds after an offensive rebound. It makes the job of the shot clock operator a bit more complex, but it's a good rule to speed up the game.
Our shooters will thrive with the new line. :thumb: :thumb:
