New Running Back from Oregon State U.

I was just reviewing the newest roster update now that players have all reported to the team. The roster lists a new running back who was at Oregon State University last season. His name is Kieran Yancy. He was at a JC out of HS. He was at Oregon State last season but redshirted. The OSU roster states under his bio that he "received numerous snaps at RB in spring practices and that his quickness and speed could help him earn playing time as a change of pace in the backfield or in the return game." His brother is the new defensive backfield coach for Idaho State Kam Yancy. Kam was an graduate assistant coach at Oregon State as well during Kieran's time at OSU. Always good to add a Pac 12 caliber player to our roster.

I noticed that as well looking at the roster today. It's good to see some new talent added to the roster. We need depth! There is going to be a lot of position fighting in the fall which will promote some good hard competition. Really looking forward to this season and the hunger these young men have this year.

Very well said Tacoma. Yeah depth is so critical. Gotta have dog fights for competition for playing time in practice to create a winning culture
