New Transfer Commit from Seattle U. Malek Gomma

Looks like we got a commit on Sunday from Seattle. They were middle of the pack in the WAC. Malek looks like a PF. Listed at 6'8 and 225 lbs. Played 2 seasons at Seattle and averaged 3.3 PPG last year and 1.7 PPG his Freshman year. Hard to get excited about those numbers.

I watched his 3 best games and he plays with active feet and is physical. He is not very athletic and is very slow, especially when getting back on defense. He played liked a 5 man at Seattle which at 6’8” is questionable. I hope they didn’t use Dames money for this guy. I don’t see him doing well here and my guess is he will transfer after next season based on how this staff treats guys with his weaknesses.
