New Year's Resolution

My New Year's Resolution for Coach Rahe and the rest of Wildcats is to run baby run. We have too many athletes on this team including (Josh Fuller) who needs to play more, not too be punishing all these teams we play. Break the press and attack them make them pay for pressing us. Press team as well, can you imagine what our press would look like with either Bolomboy or Hill at the point of it and Fuller, Bolomboy, Tres, or James at the back end of it guarding the rim. Please tell me what team in the BSC can match our athletes at the posts positions. You may get more aggression on defense and the boards from our posts when they know they can get out and run and get easy baskets sometimes.

2 weeks ago I watched my high school daughter who is a 5'10" post run the girl that was trying to guard her into the floor because she ran from rim to rim the entire game. She ended up with 30pts, a big win and a very tired opponent. Layup after layup because there was know one there to guard the rim, higher FG percentage because it was layups instead of forced jump shots. Run Baby Run!!!

Happy Year's Wildcats

I, too, would like to see these athletes be able to show their athleticism more but it seems they would have to do it through a different system/style of play and that seems unlikely, especially in the middle of a season. Props to your daughter, she must not have been looking over her shoulder at play cards the entire game, huh?

I'm not buying into the Fuller campaign. He seems to not be the most athletic player on the court. I've read on this forum many of times that Fuller is the answer! What am I missing?

Where would you cut playing time to play Fuller?

He may not get major mins right now but I can see him making an impact with just 10 mins because he is instant energy and effort. That's just a few mins from Bolomboy and Hill.

I'll agree with you that he isn't as athletic, but he is a bulldog and that is what Weber needs on the court. We desperately need toughness. I love Hill too. Both these guys are hard as nails. It might be best to make Bolomboy a center only and have him back up Tres. Bolomboy seems lost and just has been a disappointment. might be best if he became our sixth man. He really blossomed coming off the bench, might also take some pressure off him. To me, he isn't confident and is putting too much pressure on himself.
