• Hi Guest,

We've updated the site to combine all the forums that were part of the Big Sky Fans Network into one location. This will make it easier to navigate and participate in all the discussions for each school without having to have multiple accounts, etc. We are still working out some tweaks but please let us know if you notice anything.

With the migration, in some circumstances, your username could have been merged with one of your other usernames from the other forums. If this is the case, you can request to change your username in your account details page of your profile.
  • Hi Guest, want to participate in the discussions, keep track of read/unread posts and more? Create your free account and increase the benefits of your eGriz.com experience today!

Spokane will be hosting NCAA playoff games next year http://www.ncaa.com/MBBPrelims" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;,
and possibly hosting the Big Sky tournament the first of a three year deal with the Big Sky to have the tournament in a fixed location.

Curious why Idaho is the host. WSU has been the host in the past. Who makes these decisions?

What a great weekend in Portland. What I've been wondering since Thursday night, is have we turned the corner? Are we a one-year-wonder? The team we fielded against a very good opponent was talented, athletic, and fairly deep. We weren't out of our league. While I loved the grit our '04 NCAA team showed, this team has what it takes to continue the momentum. With a little more size inside, and a little more defense, I think we have the ingredients for an exceptional future. So proud of our program.

Only reason the 04 team lost momentum was the loss of Ray Giacoletti. He had pieces in place (Matt Nelson, Axton coming back, guards weren't great, but had Stuckey redshirting. And Bekkering would have been a beast under Giac. That team was ready to explode the next year or two.

This team could face the same challenges if hayford leaves... Anybody hearing if he's looking? I'm assuming Utah St, Nevada and San Diego, possibly?
