I agree with Skippy, it was a great effort by the Bengals.
As I listened to the post game show it was interesting to me that you tried to get the coach to comment on some great individual play by some of the players, Sanchez, Solarin, Hatchett, etc., and he had a hard time giving individual credit. Everything he talked about was the team. He also would not blame any individual player for not being in the “right spots” on defense – he said “we occasionally had a hard time being in the right spot” but wouldn’t call out individuals. I think it’s great that he really believes that the Bengals succeed as a team and make mistakes as a team – not as individuals. That’s got to be hard, especially when you have some of the great individual performances we’ve seen from some of the Bengals so far this year. Good for him!
