Weber State University is making it easier for people who buy WSU event tickets online or by phone to afford the purchase.

The $6 per order handling fee is officially gone.

And there’s another new perk for people who purchase Weber State event tickets online, Bovee said. Now, purchasers can print out tickets to be scanned at the door or gate. In the past, those who did not purchase tickets in person had to wait in will-call lines to pick up the traditional tickets that would allow admission to a game or performance.

He said Weber State also hopes to open a downtown Ogden location later this fall where people can go to buy event tickets. A store that will sell Weber State apparel and other goods is planned.

 Kudos to Jerry Bovee for making this happen.

Wow!!! FINALLY!!!! Will they have Wildcat Club apparel also?? I doubt it since it is impossible to find - even at the bookstore.

Yeah they might have dropped the service fees but they also raised the price of the family pass for football by $31 this season. The price last year was $95 and this year the cost is $126. Seriously where the hell did they pick $126 from? Out of Bovee's backsi... :dunce: I guess $120 or $125 or even $130 is too difficult.
Also they might want to think again about raising prices AFTER a VERY sub-par 5-6 season. With that logic I would hate to see how much they raise ticket prices after an 0-11 season.
I am confident that WSU is STILL led by a bunch of dumb a$$es :dunce: :dunce:

It sounds, suspiciously, like $120 family pass plus $6 handling fee.

It's still a very good deal for a family of just about any size. I'm sure that we have the lowest prices around.

As the late great Chris Farley would say " Hmm, that's a mystery!"

yeeuh we are now in 2012! it should be the opposite, charge a fee if you call in or go in person as that requires an employee.

Ticket prices always go up every so often but $95 to $126 is a big jump, still a great deal. 25% increase. Are all tickets gone up? What about bball?

You could have gotten them at last year's price if they were purchased before a certain date (it was some time in June). But even at $126, we have little room to complain. We could be Ute fans and have to get a second mortgage to pay for season tix.

I'm just saying it's stupid to raise ticket prices by 25% after a shitty season last year. :wall:

I can not believe anybody would actually complain about a $126 Family season pass! Judging by your size I'd imagine you spend $126 a day on food.
