no Video for MT State?

I'm not sure you want to watch this. Undisciplined basketball! Hard to watch! This is Senglin's team...... Not sure Joel is even a factor!

Weber really needs to wake up! Bad performance! The team needs an intervention!

Good game? Not really, but it's a win. I'm not sure about this team. I'm a fan, but that was as ugly as ugly can get! Weber should've won by 25! But we were lucky to get a win.

What's wrong with this team?

Ugly is certainly an accurate description for tonight's game, it looked nothing like Thursday's.

One thing wrong tonight is NO team fight for boards, especially when you're going 18 of 49 on your own floor. I about lost my mind when a 3 was taken and Joel was the ONLY Weber player inside the three point line.

This team is so different than past Rahe teams. At times tonight they looked to be out of control. I also see a desire to fall in love with the 3 pointer. Sad that the most physically imposing player on the floor was often standing alone under the basket only to see his teammates jack up threes. This is not a very good team. Call it what you want, but this performance was a major step back.
I'm not a Senglin fan and find it amazing that he can be so selfish! He's not a very good quarterback and I'm hoping to see Hunter more at that position.

We were at home against one of the worse teams in the BSC and barely got a win. I'm sure there were four recruits at home wondering if they made the right decision. Where is the disciplined WSU style of basketball? Inside out use to be our mantra..... Now there really doesn't seem to be a system at all!

IMO which isn't worth much... I am pretty sure ugly is how MSU wanted the game to be played. I think we will see similar tactics at SUU. There were some negatives, already pointed out by other posters but here are some positives from yesterday:

Weber junior center Joel Bolomboy, the reigning Big Sky Defensive MVP, blocked three shots and dominated the offensive glass. His eight offensive boards boosted him to a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double in 37 minutes of action. Bolomboy faced constant double-teams and was the subject of a fair share of hard fouls. Bolomboy hit 7-of-10 free throws on Saturday night.

Sophomore guard Richaud Gittens hit 5-of-7 shots in scoring 14 points to go with three steals.

I don't want to pile on Senglin but it's tough when your starting point guard has 0 assists. I liked the balanced scoring, Jeremy 15, Joel 17, Gittens 14. If Richardson hits a few of his shots we win handily, everytime he shoots I feel like it's going in, such a smooth shot.

I don't want to pile on Seglin but it's tough when your starting point guard has 0 assists. I liked the balanced scoring, Jeremy 15, Joel 17, Gittens 14. If Richardson hits a few of his shots we win handily, everytime he shoots I feel like it's going in, such a smooth shot.

Which is what's so bad about weber state. We don't have a point guard. Senglin is a two. Pure and simple. When you're the starting point guard and you play 36 minutes and don't register an assist.... that's a problem. So many fast breaks with open players and he takes the shot! You end up just shaking your head and looking for the next turnover.

It's just a team that doesn't understand that they need to be a team to win! It's Jeremy and the Senglinairres! Maybe it is time for a new attitude? We're not a young team, we are a very undisciplined team. It's getting harder and harder to watch!

Even though we got the win this definitely felt like a step backward. Let's hope this was just a blip on the radar of continued progression. We could've easily lost this game because of the same issues we have been talking about all year long. Only 3 assists from Senglin, Golden, and Gittens for an entire game? I do think teams are playing to take Joel out of the game as much as possible, and he is taking a beating every single game. I saw a lot of frustration on his face several times. Free throws were 31 - 13 which is an indication of how the Bobcats wanted to play the game. And once again we got outrebounded by an inferior team. Thank goodness Joel had 8 offensive rebounds or we get killed on the glass.

Senglin is starting to come around, he is our leading scorer, but Golden needs to step up big time, we need more from our starting shooting guard.
