North Dakota at Montana

at the half, Montana 13 North Dakota 10. wow. that's a bit of a shock. A griz loss (it won't happen) would open up some spots in the playoffs.

Montana is outgaining them 216 to 66, but, its 13-10. UND is 3-16 for 27 yards (their QB's are horrible), but its 13-10. how? long kickoff return to the 1 yard line and an interception return to the 10 (FG).

i expect Montana to roll them in the 2nd half, but, if they don't? that would shake some things up. especially if Southern Utah upsets Eastern Washington (don't expect that....expect EWU to wear them down with the run, but SUU can pass the ball).

Yes. And I suggest tuning into the SUU-EWU tilt if you want to see a good game until the Hornets kick off.

The website wasn't loading so I cleaned out my cookies and rebooted my comp. There were a bunch of Windows updates that were automatically added when I shut down. Everything is working since I did all that.

Montana pulls away....SUU and EWU...did the defenses take Saturday off?

17-14 late in the 2Q. SUU has 301 yards! they fumbled at the EWU 3-yard line. those guys are potent. last drive was 76 years in 2:46.

Jones has 115 first half yards.

a Montana meltdown would have been huge for the Hornets -> opened up a spot in the playoffs.

A 6 D-1 win team will not make the playoffs...especially one west of the Mississippi.

i figure a 6-win team will go ONLY if they have to. that is, no other 7 win teams. if Montana had lost today, the BigSky would have potentially 2 7-win teams (depending on NAU's games). if Poly loses tonight to Davis, they don't have 7. so, you might think they would go to a solid 6-win team, especially if one were SUU coming off an upset of EWU.

you follow this much closer than me, SD.....are there 16 quality, qualifiers east of the Mississippi? or, too soon to tell? i figured with the Southland beating each other up, and teams like James Madison below the level, that would open it up.

I think the other thing that would hurt the Hornets will be if Weber and NAU end up at 5-6 and 6-5. those wins won't carry as much weight.
