Looks like the eags are underdogs again. Both teams on five-game winning streaks. I know Northern Arizona is better than I thought they were going to be this year. They've beat Southern Utah (on the road), Northern Colorado (on the road) and Portland State just like we have. Should be a battle. We need to find a way to grind out another one. The games are going to be close so I think making our free throws is the key ingredient.

go eags!

NAU beating UNC on the road was a task. EWU beating NAU on the road will be a task. NAU beating EWU @home will be a task. EWU are task masters!!

Agreed, the Eagles only missed 1 FT Saturday and 4 vs UNC
14 of 15 vs Sac
14 of 18 vs UNC

I didn't see any of it... they musta played well on both ends of the court. Can someone give me a recap?

If we can beat Montana in Missoula (and the team is playing MUCH better all of a sudden), then we jump into the driver's seat for the conference title.

I must say, I thought this one would be a lot closer in the end than it was. The eags are Road Warriors right now. NAU was favored by 2 in the game and we handed it to them down the stretch. NAU is definitely a team that could make some noise in the conference tournament. We hit around 38% of our three point shots (on 37 attemts) which really helped us get the victory. That's a decent percentage....but far from how we can shoot on a great night. Aiken and Peatling took over on the boards . That was a quality win on the road. Chalk up 6 wins in a row now. The Griz on the road is going to be a very tough task. I believe we lost to them by 1 at their place last year.

go eags!
