I was looking through the roster attempting to determine which guy it was that injured an ankle badly enough to be wearing a walking boot. Still don't know who it was but I was impressed with the number of young guys we have coming up I counted 8 F or rs-Freshman 2 So, 3 Jr and 2 Sr. Is that normal to have so many young players? The future looks bright from the roster perspective.

Two freshman have had starts at RT and LG with a third seeing significant time at C and G. I think it was Musser at G who got hurt. OL has played great. Good call clawman.

I was thinking it was Luke Dahlgren, was he on the two deep?

Dahlgren went down versus Idaho. He didn't look too badly hurt. Musser has had a few problems this season, but I don't think he's actually missed any games. We knew players like Crist and Taylor would be good this year, and they have been. I think the young guys stepping up are surprising. I remember seeing Baddege when he first got to campus and he looked like an enormous man-child, coming from Canada where football doesn't have the same swag. I wasn't sure he'd cut the mustard, but he's rounding into a darn good player.

FWIW, you could build a pretty good line-up with Eastern's freshman, especially on OL and DL. There are guys that have immediately jumped into roles as impact players.

I wish I had access to the game this past week and could track the amount of time our QB had to throw the ball....seems like he is getting a ton which is bad news for D who don't have the athletes to keep up.

My bad, when he was on the carpet thought I saw #77. Dahlgren has been a great interior lineman and believe he had a start at center a few games back. Baddege has seen a lot of time too. It's an exciting group ;-)

TAMARICK PIERCE..has anyone determined why he's not available? Meant to check last game to see if he was on sidelines just not suited down. Is he out for season? Seeing how Montana is hammered at healthy RB position reminds me what a fine line injury's play and when O-Lineman went down Sat. felt like a nut punch (as all injury's do).

Been wondering that as well. I have to assume he’s injured…would be great to make a post-season run and see him suit up again.

He continues to be on the sideline with a headset, in street clothes. He was also the one from the locker room video giving EB3 the game ball after the game Saturday. I wouldn't count on seeing him back in pads again. He's sustained a lot of injuries over the course of his career.

Wish him luck in what is likely to be coaching!

Appreciate the insight. Like the others in this chain, I thought we might see him given a playoff run. The good news is Merritt, Jackson and Lewis look very good behind the OL

Dahlgren has been listed on the two deep as a backup at center but he started the Montana game at gaurd.. Dahlgren is a R/S freshman and came out of Forks high school. You have to do some serious recruiting to find a D1 player in a place as remote as Forks. Out of high school he was listed at 6-3 270 now he is listed at 6-3 300. One player I think has potential is Shane Schwake 6-8 OL 3 star all state player from Eugene Oregon. Eastern plays the Ducks in 2023, maybe he will be starting by then.
