Odds of a repeat?

Pretty stoked that we're only a month and a half from the start of the season and am wanting to start talking shop. What do you suppose the odds of us heading back to Frisco are? We've got a real tough schedule this year but probably have the most talent retention in the league...

IMHO the odds are better than any other team in FCS. We will know a lot more at the end of the Bobcat game as that is probably the toughest part of the schedule, although going to Cal Poly at the end of the regular season will be no cupcake.
Those early season games will have a lot to do with determining our final seeding and thus home vs traveling playoff games. Last year those home games went a LONG way to getting to Frisco.

The way I see it...

We'll more than likely make the playoffs if not for a major injury bug or meltdown (knock on wood), so we'll be one of 20 teams. We won't play in the first round, so one of 16 teams. I think we're good for at least one home game/one win. One of eight teams left. From there on out... anything can happen. Soo.... 1/8 = 12.5%. :thumb:

So many things have to fall in line for it to happen.......

I think we'll make the playoffs....from there anything can happen.

True, anything can happen, but history has shown that multiple consecutive road trips makes the chances of a trip to Frisco less likely.
As I've mentioned earlier, the first 4 games are critical and the Cal Poly game could, and probably will, be a deciding factor in our seeding. That is if there is not a letdown due to overconfidence during the season.
