Things appear fairly stable so far at Idaho State, but other Big Sky schools are seeing changes:
--Southern Utah fired head coach Nick Robinson and replaced him with UNLV assistant (and interim head coach) Todd Simon. Robinson, who is a truly nice guy, finished with a four-year record of 28-90 in Cedar City. I thought he was starting to turn things around a little bit after they won 7 conference games in the 2014-15 season, but the T-birds regressed badly last year. They were a truly awful defensive team.

Simon served as interim coach after UNLV fired Dave Rice in January. He led the Rebels to a 9-8 record, despite playing with as few as five scholarship players. He was an assistant at UNLV for three years. Prior to that Simon coached at national powerhouse Findlay Prep for seven years.

--According to "verbal commits," Jordan Wilson, the 5-7 point guard who averaged 13 points and shot 40 percent from three for Northern Colorado last year, is looking for a new school for his senior season.

--Also transferring is Adam McDermott, the 6-6 freshman guard who averaged 6.7 points a game for North Dakota. McDermott, cousin of NBA player Doug Mc Dermott, showed off his shooting range when he hit 8 treys and scored 28 points against Idaho State in a game this past season.

--As Mark noted earlier, former all conference guard Kris Yanku is leaving Northern Arizona before his senior season. The 6-5 PG was suspended prior to NAU's loss to Eastern Washington in the Big Sky tournament.
