RT1 - Jake Rodgers 6'6 320 Junior (Started 12 games at WSU in 2012)
RT2 - Cassidy Curtis 6'7 290 Sophomore *
** = Returning starter
* = Saw significant playing time in 2012
Notes:
QB is locked up. Adams is the man. Questions? :thumb:
The Offensive Line seems to be the strongest of the units, bolstered by the arrival of WSU transfer Jake Rodgers. Basically the only starting position that isn't locked up by a returning starter is right tackle, and I have Rodgers projected to start there, but as I mentioned in a previous post he played multiple positions at WSU. We could see Cassidy Curtis playing significant time at either right or left tackle as well.
It'll be running back by committee again this season with several backs in the mix. Bronson returns for his Senior season and will be the primary short-down back, with Forte adding a threat in passing formations. Mario Brown returns from a RS last season, and Jabari Wilson and Jalen Moore should be in the mix as well.
We are also very deep at TE. I expect to see more double-tight sets due to the fact that we are deep at this position and along with a very experienced offensive line I think we'll run the ball more than the past two seasons.
At first glance, we seem to lack experience at Receiver. With that said, everyone listed on my 2-deep has seen considerable playing time, minus Kupp who Red-Shirted last season. I would not be surprised to see one or more true Freshman WR's play this season. Why? Size - Aaron Clark is 6'4 and Kendrick Bourne is 6'3. Sblendorio and Gamboa are smaller at 6'0 but look to be good ones.
