I thought I'd resurrect the "think positively" thread for the game against Xavier. Those who believe in jinxes or take themselves too seriously need not reply.

Without further ado, against whom do we matchup best in the second round? Florida St. is the better team, but Wisconsin's slow style is a worst case matchup for PSU. Therefore, I'm rooting for the Seminoles to be our second round opponent. What say the rest of you?

LOL This thread should get interesting.

Florida State showed in their game yesterday that they prefer to not run the floor as much, I would have to agree that Wisconsin would probably be worst case scenario in this situation. Florida State would be our best bet.

After that PSU will see the toughest macthup in school history against Pittsburgh.....IDK....I guess Kansas would be better since they won it all last season.

24 point victory for the Jayhawks, that's about as bad as it gets for PSU X fans

The sweet 16 matchup with Pitt offers a nice story line that some here may recall. Their coach, Jamie Dixon was extremely close to taking the head coaching job at PSU several years ago before changing his mind to remain on the Panthers staff. Ben Howland left for UCLA soon thereafter, and Dixon wound up the head coach at Pitt. Think he'll regret his decision when PSU advances to the elite eight?
