I was just thinking about this and wanted to see what everyone else thought. I have a lot of respect for NDSU and what they have been able to accomplish. It's crazy that we were the last team not from Fargo to win the NC. But I really hope they don't win number 5. I don't know why but to me it reflects poorly on the FCS to the casual football fan that the same team wins it all every year. Here's hoping JSU knocks 'em out!

I hope the Bison win so we can knock off the Nat'l champs next year!
Our shut down defense will stifle their powerful offense.
Seriously now, I do have a lot of respect for any team that can win 4 consecutive national championships and going for another.
Go Bison

Isn't it amazing what good things happen when you play defense?

One thing that strikes me watching this Jax St - NDSU game is that we don't have a DL that would even crack their two deep (either team). They get after it on the line of scrimmage in a way that is light years ahead of us.

The one thought that keeps coming to mind when I watch them is....

They possess the football.

clawman,
I remember we did defeat NDSU in 2009, in overtime at Roos Field, they have been waiting for a rematch, this was the year that I walked out on the team, it had snowed, rain that day during the game, We had the ball our team fumbled :( :( :( :( , with time running out on us, I left to clean off the snow/ice off my windshield. While cleaning off the snow, I was listening to the game on the radio in my truck, when we got the ball back, with 2:29seconds to go, and 90 yards to pay dirt, I tried to get back into my seat, but to damn slick to run, when I got in I saw "Tyler Hart" catching the ball for a TD in overtime. We held NDSU, When we fell behind against Delaware, honestly, I wasn't worried, I had a feeling we would come back, we did and the rest is history.        . What was even funnier, was watching VP Biden with the different expressions on his face, the smiles kept getting smaller and smaller, until the game was over. I think VP Biden did send a Congratulation Message to our Athletic Department. So much for my book. Hope to see you on Thursday, the team looked great that evening. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace BTW I think they will visit us here this year.

We are going to have one tough game in Fargo next year, on top of that, it will be their first game of the year and we will be coming off a game against the Cougs, ouch!

They sure have a hell of a program in Fargo, absolutely dominant. Would love to see us take it to them in September.
