Since Fields had reopened his recruiting...lets chat about some of the possible replacements.

I think are still all available. I'm not sure who else the coaching staff can look for, but I'm pretty sure that Rahe and Co. have a short list of possible replacements. If not, there are other areas that they might be looking.

You missed a couple.

Lester Medford of Amphitheater High in Tuscon AZ could be a good player for the Cats. He doesn't have as high of a skill set as Fields, but he is a hard working, dynamic player. Also, he is teammates with Tim Derksen, who, as some scouts have said, has PAC-10 talent, but because he isn't tall enough, probably wont catch the eyes of top programs. Weber could end up getting both of these players. Derksen has already been offerred by Rahe for next year.

Medford line: points 16.5, Assists 5.0, Rebounds 3.4, Steals 2.7.

He and Derksen led their team to the state finals, and are being seen as the favorite to win the AZ 4A-II title this year.

AJ Price is still available too.

WELL I FEEL LIKE A HORSES A$$!!

Rivals has totally made us, the fans, all look like complete idiots!! If the reports that Bob has are solid, then I'm thinking Rahe can sue the shiz out of Rivals for flagrant and erroneous mis-statements. Isn't that, in the legal world, called spurious and libelous commentary? Or in laymans' terms...BEING MISQUOTED??

It kinda makes sense. Rivals or Scout aren't huge supporters of the small schools. They get their $$$ from the bigger programs. I guess, if the statements weren't truthful that rivals printed, then Weber, the Fields family, and Rahe each have a case.

No matter, I think we all got a bit carried away. I know I did. I think a huge apology is in order for Rahe, Shai, his family, and the program in general. Wow, I agree with N.ogden, I feel like one too!!

Well...if nothing else, it should be nice for the program knowing that it has such die-hard/loyal fans!! WE LOVE WEBER STATE, especially, the BASKETBALL LEGACY!! GO CATS!!

I always try to stay away from what those recruiting sites are "supposedly" saying. How often are they correct? If any of you have been paying attention, Rivals is saying that Brown hasn't fully verbaled either. Most of their stories are corroborated by local newspaper accounts, sometimes by heresay, other times by coaches (some of which are trying to cause issues so that the recruits they want will listen to them). Recruiting is a dirty business. All, I know is that Rahe plays the game with integrity and dignity. Not only that, but those are the type of players he recruits. Players who are hard working, dedicated, and willing to listen and learn. No matter what, lets just remember to support the Wizard and Weber State! I know I bleed purple...
