Oral Roberts .2

Wildcats are 9.5 point favorites tonight, both teams playing pretty good ball right now.

Oral Roberts already has a road victory so far beating Texas Arlington 84-76, before going home and beating Irvine by 14 76-62.

The first matchup was a grind it out hard fought game, and I fully expect the 2nd game to be the same, here's hoping for a big loud crowd tonight to help fuel our Wildcats to a 3rd round CIT victory.

I hope We get at least 7k for tonights game so the CIT can go  about making us go on the road.

Seriously a semi final game in Ogden ON A SATURDAY???? Uh CIT what were you thinking.....or weren't you?

I feel a semi game in Ogden on a Sat. night just might get 9k in da house. Clearly this NOT about winning & attendance. It IS crony politics at its best. ( just giving my chemo induced 2 cents worth.) LOL

Please see band camp updates for insight into how this works.....

The band director (Collegeinsider.com) is in bed with the saxophone (Northern Iowa) players mom (the Missouri Valley Conference). She asks if he can please take care of her little sweetie while he is away at band camp. The band director says, "no problem I did a similar favor for a students (Utah State) dad (Stew) last year."

The good thing is that it didn't work last year and it won't work this year. This is why I compare this mid major stuff to band camp politics. It doesn't matter how good of a team you are, it just matters who is in with CollegeInsider.

1280 the zone is synched pretty closely with the video stream if anyone is interested in hearing Arky call the game and watch at the same time.

I have seen worse reffed games than that one, but not many. They would make a completely groundless call and then make three even worse calls to try and make up for it. They would completely fail to see what was going on in the game and then refuse to go to the monitor to find out what they missed. It didn't change the final outcome, but the refs made themselves look bad/dirty, however you want to call it. It was almost like someone had a lot of money bet on the spread. to those refs!! :yikes:

WeberHQ Dutch wanted Davion to run the clock on that possession. He shot the ball with 1 second left on the shot clock. Love you, Dutch.

Fun game. I'm really glad Weber gets them again next year. It got a bit chippy but the Cats hung tough.
That is a good team.
