Great Win :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy: I checked as many Sports Channels last night before I went to bed at 10:30pm. They spoke about our victory, and that OSU paid $450,000.00 Bucks for EWU to go to Corvallis and beat them. I wanted to get up and greet the team and Coaches this morning, but couldn't, was very tired. I didn't see the game I listened to it while I was cleaning my garage. I have Direc TV, and they let Comcast show them up and show the game. Friday after the walk through of the Players, I mentioned to the Coaches and Players " I feel and ass whipping coming on for OSU, they smiled and said "you are right Vic". I am so proud of the team and Coaches, as I know the rest of you are. Will be at Northern Quest tomorrow for Coaches Show. Go Eagles!!!!!

Eastern Washington coach Beau Baldwin won a Football Championship Subdivision national title in 2010. Both personally and professionally, he feels a duty to call his team's one-point win against Delaware his finest victory as a coach.

But he also knows how fans work. Their memories can be short, and big names tend to get embedded in their minds.

"Ten or 15 years from now, people might not remember who we beat in the national title game, but they'll remember the ranked team who we beat in the Pac-12," Baldwin said. "It puts you that much more on the map."

Baldwin spoke from a bus carrying happy Eastern Washington players and coaches from Corvallis, Ore., back to their campus in Cheney, Wash., Earlier in the day, Eastern Washington came to Reser Stadium and outlasted No. 25 Oregon State 49-46, recording the first win against a Pac-12 opponent in program history.

Adams rushed for 107 yards, passed for 411 and scored the game-winner on a two-yard scramble with 18 seconds left. The Beavers forced exactly one punt, when Adams was cramping on the sidelines. He didn’t turn over the ball.

If he made a mental or physical mistake it wasn’t obvious.

OK, Adams is outstanding. If he were playing at, say, Michigan, he would have a catchy nickname and a grassroots Heisman campaign.

“I really think he’s a good player,” Riley said. “His quickness was outstanding. He just froze our guys and eluded them, sometimes two or three at a time. He kept things alive and made some throws on the run, and some of those catches were, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me.’”

Adams’ 518 yards is both a Reser Stadium and an OSU opponents’ record. Former Washington State quarterback Alex Brink previously had held both with a total of 515 yards in 2005.

Here is hoping Skyler made a lot of money off Vegas. Those dip shits picking us to loose by 27? They doesn't know this team, I have been around them now for approximately 15 years, and I know when we have an "Outstanding Team", which we now have again. Give Skyler our best, haven't forgotten him as our QB years ago, and a damn great QB. When you see the replays again, look at the block #98 Zach Wimberly made when Adams made his last TD at end of game, he was converted from DL to TE when Cody Humphrey went down with his knee injury, and a Tumwater Graduate, I think from the same school as Matt/Zach Johnson attended. Now we have Western Oregon coming in this weekend, we cannot let down. BTW, the team had promised my daughter and myself a BD Victory, hers was on the 31 Aug, mine will be Sept 9th, (a young 79 . Promise you I will cut back on my cursing, just for your Virgin Eyes Sometimes you have to say what is on your mind, I try to keep it clean, because there are Ladies and children present on the blog. . Well found out today there are no practices on Mondays this year at present, so I will wait until about 4 pm, and head for Northern Quest for Coaches show. Hope we have a big turn out. In case you haven't heard, the room that we utilize looks sharp, it was remodeled. Hope I see you on Saturday 7th, 1st home game. I read where OSU had us as #1 of their supposed 7-0 start. Remembered I mentioned some of the Recruits that came in in Sept, 7th? Some of them played and all performed great. Big Matthew Sommer DL, fm Salem, Albert Havilli, LB Seattle, Kendrick Bourne, Seattle. The young man I am really happy for is Cooper Kupp, he will be hell on the field, he sat out one year and learned from the best. Adams had the same problem last year with cramps, hope he learn to consume plenty liquids, water, Gator Aid, no liquor. Go Eagles!!!!! Vic Wallace

We had a very big turn out at Northern Quest this evening for Coach Baldwin Show. Well deserved crowd. Nice to see some of the film from the game. 93Bird thanks for attending. clawman give me a news paper from Albany Ore. Have a great write up of our game, when Brandon Murphy played with one of OSU Player when they were in high school, he played Saturday with OSU. I don't know about the rest of you, I am walking on cloud 9, and so very proud of the Players and Coaches. Will be there at practice thanking the team as they come out for practice at 3 pm tomorrow.
Coach came with Ashton Clark and Cooper Kupp to the Coaches Show, both men spoke. Hope to see a big crowd this weekend at Roos Field, we cannot let down. This team will be attempting to do to us what we did to OSU, we must not take Western Oregon lightly. Go Eagles!!!!!. Vic Wallace

Here is a big congratulation to the EWU Eagles. You showed the football world that there is not much difference between BCS and FCS. What an unbelievable game Adams and the entire team had. Glad we don't have to play you this year. Keep up the good work and don't let this great win go to your heads as it is a long season with tough competition ahead.
